Looking good

Now all nicely painted and looking much better :)

Tables and chairs will be put into the 

reception area over the next couple of 

days meaning we can really work on 

getting the arena built and painted

Windows in the Arena now being boarded up

bye bye daylight 

 Half way done should be finished in a day or 

so then we can build arena :)

And a bit of the reception floor needed some TLC

Nearly ready for painting...

Seems the more we do the more we have to do 

but we are now getting ever closer to painting the reception area :)

By this time next week the ceiling will be bright white, the walls a dark blue 

and the floor a nice shade of grey
(sorry ladies only 1 shade not 50)

Been a busy few days 

loads of wood delivered and these have started to be 

made into panels for the playing arena

we have a new kitchen floor and ceiling ready to put the new units in 

 we have really turned a corner - no longer are we destroying its all building :)

A friday update in pictures :)

now to wait 3 days before we can paint :)

We decided to put a seat out to see how much room we have for arcades 

turns out we have lots and lots of room :)

Finally we have a ceiling over what will be the reception area (cheers Bennett) and that door leads into our soon to be built brand new kitchen :)

We also have a reception area that can be spray painted as soon as the fire boards have been plastered :)

the floor has also now been scrubbed rubbed scraped and ground till it is back to the concrete also ready for painting :)

the next week will be one of masking off what is not being painted (lights and windows) and working on getting the windows in the arena area blocked up

We have a wall :)

The stud work now has a fireboard covering meaning we have a reception and an arena area :)

Starting to come together - stud work going in for the dividing wall between arena and reception

And the sign is going up :)

The toilets before and after...

the toilets have changed quite a bit in the last 2 weeks

the 2 photos below show the top half how they are now and the bottom half how they were

first the gents - nice shiny urinal with clean blue walls :)

and now the ladies - bye bye orange doors and now with pretty pink walls :)

Kitchen has been gutted..

Kitchen has been stripped out and the cleaning has started 

new units have been purchased cant wait to get them installed :)

We have seats :)

They need a small amount of TLC but we can now have the joy of sitting down when we take a break :)

diner style seats - we want our customers to be comfortable :)

Clean, Tidy and Carpet Free

At last something actually looks different :)

Carpet coming up from the reception / diner area ready for a new floor - next step build the dividing walls and the arena itself :)

Slowly Slowly ...

While looking very much like the last post we are slowly getting there

Toilets are clean and painted (Chris W & Trevor) the ceiling is minus the many many gaps and broken tiles (the one and only Bennett) the windows are clean and the frames undercoated (Mummy Terry)  the rather strange 4" x 4" floor to ceiling beams have gone (Rob) and the kitchen is looking almost clean (Chris & Ant).  Oh and Dave for moving a tile :)

The above are by no means all those who have helped so apologies if you have been missed still lots of work to be done and also the arena to be built and painted but we are getting there :)

Busy Weekend

Saturday 15th - lots of filling and sanding and filling and sanding and .... you get the idea :)

We also have a part finished ceiling in the reception area - getting there slowly :)

We Have the Keys !!!!

Friday 14th Sept 2012 - We get the keys :)

A shed load of work to do and more pool cue sized holes to fill then we really needed but all good fun :)
